Mission Types

Knowing what kind of missions will be available ahead of time i think is important.  Below, is listed all the variable types of missions that i will be creating. Also some of the missions will be mixed allowing the game to be extended and not short......

-Seach and Destroy
-Locate and Recover
-Assasination
-Base and Target Defense
-Escort
-Area Reconnosaince
-Patrols
-Target Capture (building, base, etc.)


If you combine the several types of missions together you get a campaign scenario of missions. If there is something that you would like to add to the mission objectives please do so and i will do my best to imbed them into the current and future missions.

The first few missions will be more or less a tutorial for how the rest of the game will be played, i will introduce you to various tactics , provide tips, and allow you to think for your own. You will be given several objectives with plenty of enemies to eradicate.

In the beginning you will be getting a feel for your Mech simple objectives allowing you to expierament with your weapons and test your equipment.

Second i will teach you simple navigations, whether it is using terrain or setting your waypoints (pen and paper method) in your head. I will also introduce you to team methods for protecting defending and attacking.

Third, you will learn that the more you kill the better your chances for survival, As well as taking out tactical targets that hinder enemy performance.  Example: If you take out the comm tower they cant call for reinforcements.

This will be fun and exciting and loaded with intense action, I hope you can keep up.

I bet we can. It will be up to the level designer, coolest would be if you could add some random events into it.

yeah they have that type of thing in the maps for Section 8 elta. they call them DCM's "Dynamic Combat Missions" they are missions that pop up when you complete so many feats, feats are given by killing, destroying ect. when a certain type of DCM in Section8 is activated it then depends on what types of feats were earned. well i think...... thats basically how they work  ;)  you guys get the idea i hope. ^^  having something along the lines of the way the Section8 Devs done it would/could be very fun and get peoples attention.

Are those objectives per player or per team?
